Powder Coating
We offer a wide range of powders in different colours, finishes and gloss levels. We carry an extensive stock of RAL and British standard colours. However, should you require a colour which we do not stock, we can normally order “specials” within 4-5 days. Should you require extra surface protection, we can use various corrosion resistant Zinc Rich primers on your items.
If your product requires any masking / bunging of parts (i.e. threaded parts, bores etc.) we can apply special heat resistant tapes and bungs to ensure these parts are free from powder for ease of assembly.
Vapour Blasting
The key to vapour blasting is that the finish is produced through using a waterborne abrasive, producing a finer finish due to the flushing action of the water.
No media is impregnated into the component, nor is there any dust created by the break-up of media, unlike dry blasting where the finish is produced by sheer force of media impact.
Bead Blasting
Our bead blasting service is a metal cleaning process that produces a clean, uniformed texture across all surfaces.
Treated with the bead blasting process, a surface can be cleaned and transformed without causing any damage.
All corrosion, paint and rust are removed and no residue or contaminates are left behind.
Grit Blasting
Grit blasting (also known as sand blasting) is used by many different industries to clean and prepare a wide range of surfaces and components.
The type of abrasive we use is dependent on the surface treatment required.
Common abrasives include steel grit, steel shot, sand, crushed glass, aluminium oxide, silicon carbide and plastic to name a few.
Hot Zinc Spraying
Hot zinc spraying provides outstanding corrosion resilience and is subsequently used to form a protective coating on a large range of products. Key applications include balconies and balustrading, structural steelwork, gates and railings, architectural fabrications and automotive / chassis components.
Surfaces are pre-treated with grit blasting processes to remove any paint, dirt, debris and corrosion which may have formed. The hot zinc spraying process is then carried out, prior to the surface being powder coated to achieve the final coating / finish.
Chemical Stripping
To complement our powder coating and spraying services, we carry out chemical stripping to remove paint, dirt and debris from surfaces and components.
Once stripped, the metal is washed and blasted using an appropriate medium, ready for coating.
Welding & Light Fabrication
In addition to powder coating and surface treatments, we offer welding and steel fabrication service to domestic, commercial and industrial customers. Equipped with the latest machinery and equipment, we undertake small and medium fabrication projects, from architectural steelwork to the design and fabrication of custom-built gates or batch production runs.
As with our powder coating service, all steel fabrication work is completed to the highest of standards and to the strictest of tolerances. We recognise the importance of precision, delivering a product that is reliable, strong and fit for purpose.
